This role requires both computer literacy for the use of our database and physical movement on a daily basis. We are willing to train the right candidate who will exhibit patience and dedication to learn this unique role. Our Senior Packer will be alongside the candidate for training and she speaks Spanish primarily, so a Bi-Lingual English and Spanish speaker is preferred.

• Heavy Lifting will accompany receiving responsibilities to sort deliveries and inventory boxes in stock room.
• Pack in-house orders for shipment when needed.
• Packing duties include checking product against in-house packing lists for quality control. Candidate will be trained to remember to pack specific types of items to include components stored in packing section.
• Entering details of in-house packs into computer database and note packing details on paper packing lists to keep track of items packed by parcel/ box.
• Communication with expediters to manage quality control issues for in-house orders going out to pack.
• Occasionally lend a pair of hands to help lift/move items in other departments as needed.
• Report low inventory of various supplies to procurement managers before stock runs out.
• Organize deliveries and stock in an orderly manner to sort later or delegate to other staff.
• Drop off packages to Fedex when needed.
• Run errands like dropping off deposit slips or USPS certified mails when needed.
• Knowledge of UPS Worldship system is a plus. Will train for help with shipping.
Qualifications:
• Must speak English with excellent oral communication, writing, and reading skills.
• Physical strength and stamina to comfortably lift and carry a minimum of 50Lb. boxes on a daily basis.
• Patience while being trained in this proprietary role. We welcome and understand if the candidate has many questions throughout the training process as we expect it will take some months to acclimate into a comfortable flow. We are prepared to support the candidate as much as needed, while expecting them to fully learn the role over a period of time.
• An understanding of the importance of keeping accurate data and attention to detail.
• Neat handwriting for packing duties is preferable.
• Comfortable acting as a flexible teamplayer attitude to help out other departments and also demonstrate independence to take care of multiple tasks.
