Non-GCC expatriates require a work residence permit (Article 18 visa converted to work permit) sponsored by a Kuwaiti employer, valid for 1-3 years and renewable. Prior experience of 1 year in security is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles. A medical examination confirming no communicable diseases is compulsory.

Required documents include a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity), attested academic certificates, 6 passport photos, medical report from approved clinic, and employment contract approved by PAM.
